Professional networking should lead to a conversation, not another feed
Gravity helps professionals at Gummifabriken see who may be relevant, understand why a conversation may be useful, and connect only when both people agree.
There is no public directory, location map, or engagement feed to maintain. Participation is optional and every introduction remains under the member’s control.
Discover → Connect → Message → Meet
- Discover: optionally share one hour of availability and see up to three introductions supported by evidence, never distance or direction.
- Connect: send a clear request explaining why the conversation may be useful.
- Message: talk privately only after mutual acceptance.
- Meet: if it feels worthwhile, propose a short conversation in a public part of the venue.
What the app enforces
- Full names, avatars, and private conversation remain protected until mutual acceptance.
- Contact email is not shared with other members.
- Presence expires automatically and can be hidden immediately.
- Members can decline, disconnect, block another member, and make a private report.
- Matching is deterministic and explainable. Production profile context is not sent to an AI model provider.
Presence without a location map
An optional venue check happens once on the member’s device. Exact coordinates are not sent to or stored by Gravity.
Visible presence uses only the controlled general venue label Gummifabriken. Members cannot publish a room, desk, seat, office, or restricted access detail, and discovery shows neither direction nor distance.
Use it now. Install it if you like it
Gravity is a progressive web app, not a native App Store or Google Play download. Members can open it in a browser, and supported devices can add it to a home screen, desktop, or app launcher for quicker return visits.
On iPhone or iPad, open Gravity in Safari, use Share, choose Add to Home Screen, turn on Open as Web App, and choose Add. On Android, Chrome may offer Install app or Add to Home screen from its menu. On desktop, Chrome or Edge may show an install control in the address bar or browser menu.
Installation is optional and does not create an account. If an install option is unavailable, Gravity continues to work in the browser.
What Gravity does not promise
A relevance result is not proof of compatibility. Membership indicators do not guarantee identity, suitability, availability, or personal safety.
People remain responsible for their choices and should meet in public parts of the venue. Gravity is not an emergency service and does not perform background checks, recruitment decisions, or location tracking.
